We’ve moved

Dear readers,

as of today, I will be posting my home and interior posts on Graziasl.com again.
I thought it was a good idea to separate the two blogs, but  truth is, I simply lack the time to maintain two blogs the way I want to.
I hope you will visit me at my main blog!

Thank you,

Grazia

Down Town New Orleans

Gosh, I realise I have been blogging Collabor88 mostly for the past few months, but I put myself on a budget and the deals at C88 are just so awesome, and since this month, I’ve been added to the Collabor88 blog list, so I proudly show you the new sky box Barnesworth Anubis has made for this edition. New Orleans is a 2 space loft with a nice balcony and NO quarter surrounding

Pilot Grand Opening on August 25

Kaz Nayar has been dedicating his time recently to creating furniture that has a bit of a manly look and feel as a counter weight to all the girly shabby chic that we see so much of (and love). Coming Saturday, his shop Pilot will celebrate its Grand opening.

All furniture in above pic is from Pilot, from the Horatio patio set (texture changing pillows, out at the opening) and the Bridges Bar cart to the Bohn Crate shelf. Other items added are a linen rug from Y’s house, an old freebie Gibson Guitar which was hidden in the depths of my inventory (how it ever survived all the purges is still a mystery to me), a taxiderm Canary from Schadenfreude and a birds drawing from Zigana. Everything carefully watched by my Boris, a great dane from Zooby.

The Wareham Mansion @ The Loft

This is the new mesh house from The Loft. Nardya Rousselot from Nardcotix and Colleen Desmoulins from The Lost have joined forces and this is the first big collab release. The house is one floor, but a spacious 2 bedroom mansion with an open floor plan for the living- and dining room and kitchen.

Both bedrooms are spacious as well and the master bedroom has a walk in closet!! Then there are 2 smaller rooms, one is perfect for a bathroom, the in the other you can place  your washing machine and your dryer. WHAT? you say… laundry in SL?? Yes, and with some  fun animations, too!
The same goes for the kitchen, it’s LOADED with single, couples and family animations. Make a sammich for yourself and the children, grab a drink from the fridge, cook dinner and yes, even mop the floor or clean the windows (not that I want to clean the windows in SL, but hey, to have the option is kinda cute).

Vintage Fair: Sway’s

All furniture by Sway’s. For full credits, click the image

Sway Dench from Sway’s has a colorful 60’s inspired living room out for Vintage Fair. You can buy color sets, or go for the all color pack. The chairs come in a male and female version, both with a decent choice of animations
Like all item’s by Sway’s, these are fun to play with and very well done. I love the textures.

The house used is the Wareham house from The Loft. I need to decorate further, but stay tuned for bloggage of this awesome house!!

What Next at Vintage Fair 2012

Study set by What Next, clothing by Aura. For more credits, click the image

Vintage is way more than clothing, there is a vast market for vintage furniture. Not quite yet antique, but definitely not made yesterday either. Traditionally when “Vintage” comes to mind you get images of fashion and interiors from the 50’s,  through the 80’s. This set from What next is kinda awesome, the animations are so well done and the typewriter is adorable. It makes really good typing sounds when you click it. Both the chair and the desk are loaded with animations and pretty much all is texture change, too!

Stockholm @ Collabor88

Another beautiful skybox from Barnesworth Anubis for this month’s Collabor88. This brick and white chalked loft is available with and without furniture, but for a grand total of L$ 388, I did totally get the full pack. The only thing that didn’t come with the skybox is the Stockholm collage “Dansmuseet” from Samara Barzane.

Little Greenhouse by Funky Junk

This pretty little greenhouse is the newest addition to Funky Junk‘s building collection. With a land impact of 33, it’s perfect for  small plot where you just want a little retreat. Just one heads up… don’t get scared when you open the door. It sounds more like the door to a castle’s dungeon than to a greenhouse 😀

I have decorated the greenhouse with Funky Junk plants (lower pic), trees from Deco and Ivy from Nocc (middle pic)  and the Hampton table and chairs from What Next (upper pic). Also (somewhat) visible in the middle pic is the planter shelf and some other decorations from iTutu.

June Collabor88: Cheeky Pea

The 3rd builder/creator I will cover of this month’s Collabor88 is Isla Gealach from Cheeky Pea. I just need to have every C88 item she releases, because I will eventually find a use for it. Always! Besides, it’s every time a great deal, whether it is a full living room, or like this month, the Crosswinds Gazebo stage. It may be because I can’t sing, and even less play the guitar, but I didn’t have an audience today. Regardless I had lots of fun playing with the animations and the lights in this gazebo stage!!
