Colleen Desmoulins, creator of The Loft, has released the Frezza living room, which is partially mesh.  The couch is available in many neutral and rich colours, so there is one for every interior.

Also, for the holidays, there is a special X-mas version of the room available, which is slightly cheaper than the normal Frezza room. Great deal! Of course you can also purchase the single items of the room, but you get a good discount when you buy the full set!

Favorites… short & sweet blog entries with just a few of my new, or old, furniture faves. Today’s is this NY chair from Souptonic by Amelie Spittler. It comes in a male and a female version and contains 3 poses each. Also it’s available in several colours. Transferable, not copy, alas.
Artilleri’s Phonograph record player is another fave of mine. Actually, there is very little made by Antonia Marat which I am NOT a huge fan of!! Loaded with 9 poses and with wearable headphones, this is a must have!

I chose to decorate this skybox exclusively with Dutchie items. because Froukje has so many items tat really fit this stile of apartment and it’s pretty much a trip down memory lane for me, because an uncle of my dad used to live in a similar home in Amsterdam, with similar furniture.  Couch, chaise and chairs are all texture change and have tons of seats and animations in them. From strictly PG to very sexy.

 This bed is one of the prettiest I have seen in a longs time and this, also, contains tons of animations. Play a game of chess, or enjoy some cool air from a fan on a hot day while enjoying a chat with your friends, as well as getting it on with your SLover, Dutchie has thought of it all. Not to mention just laying there by yourself, daydreaming and watching the sun set through the huge window.  I was tempted to test if the closet had an anim to hide your other lover… but alas, you will have to eject him/her.

I am such a fan of bathrooms in SL. I know… odd… I don’t have the patience to soak in the tub in RL… but I love it in SL. Oh well, maybe also because it’s such a perfect “parking space” for when I am actually working in photoshop or otherwise afk. This bathroom is more than spacious and again, the bath, has a lot of anims to play with in case you’re not afk. I had so much fun putting all the stuff in , and to find that Froukje has paid great attention to the details. I mean… as silly as you may find toilets in SL… since they exist.. I do appreciate some toilet paper as well Oh and Froukje’s hanging robes (mod, so you can give them any color you like) are one of my long time favorite decoration items.

Taxi to Dutchie

SL Designers remix is a new initiative from Pitsch Parx, the creator from Urbanized where House builders and furniture builders/decorators display their creations together. So instead of looking at furniture in a showroom, you can see it here how it would actually look in (your) home and related to other interior design elements. I landed right next to the Zapallar House from L2 studio, and decided to buy it because of the more than reasonable price (L$ 350)  and the fact that it’s copy/mod and comes with extra elements so modding is actually made easy for you.

I have rezzed it as a sky box (which is actually a very good option for it, considering the modular living spaces are connected by a white plastered floor) and tried not to stuff it with too much furniture, to create a light and serene atmosphere.
